Congratulations to Immanuel Quickley of the NBA Toronto Raptors. As a free agent, IQ signed a 5 year contract for $175M, all guaranteed, after being traded from the New York Knicks, mid season in ‘23-‘24. Our youngest son (front row, second from left) was the youngest on the team, and starting point guard for the Baltimore AAU Basketball’s Nike Sponsored Team, Bmore Elite. Immanuel (front row left). IQ (#2) played shooting guard. IQ was older so the 14u team played up. This is why some of the kids have 2 medals and IQ has one. This tournament, the team won their age bracket, and the 15u bracket. Our son played point guard in college, graduated Magna cum laude (Economics/Finance) is now in wealth management ($1B under management) and doing well! I told his ass to keep in touch with IQ and his teammates 2 years ago, BEFORE he signed his contract! 😂
