I know I'm just coming back, but I would really like to see more interaction between us here. We barely converse on this site. I'm not here just to post but I'm looking to make some real life long friends here. Maybe it's just me.

Acts of kindness
Is what black people need to do
In order for us to unite…start small…
The reason why i said this
Cos white supremacy keeps stressin
Us to disrespect each other a lot….
I’m tellin you what’s real…
Our black race is sick….
And if we decide that we want
To heal as a nation,
We must look at ourselves
In the mirror
Ask difficult questions why
Do we hate our own melanin?
Why do we hate our own crown?
Why do we hate one another so deeply?
Why do we behave like white folks?
So many questions that we have for ourselves?
How come we don’t talk about mental health in
The black communities?
I mean we do have acts of kindness
And compassion among our own people
But we just don’t see it all the time
Cos we gossip too much
We murder too much
We broke up our own families
We have gender wars
Our trauma keeps recyclin
Over and over and over
But we can stop the generational curse…
I think there’s no excuse…
I also think our people are too lost…
For me
My acts of kindness
Is to write poems to black people….
To tell them the truth
And how beautiful we are….
I’m not an activist,
I’m just a messenger,
I can’t save anyone
Can’t save everyone
With one word, one piece
But I can heal souls at a time…
We’re broken
Our slave mentality has broken
Us
We’re crumblin pieces walkin down
Strollin around the streets
Still askin what’s happenin in 2024….
I wanna say this to my people
People who look like me
That despite what we been through
All the hate, all the deny bein black
Why can you just do somethin nice for
Each other? A tiny gesture?
We don’t have to be over the top
And if black people don’t accept your
Heart, there are other black people who
Will..look, listen..it’s all we got is each other…
No matter hard it is..this is all we have is our race..
We keep lovin other nations way too much…
What about us?
Let me put it this way,
White supremacy a white woman a white man
Told us black people not to be nice to each other
They said that in person…they said that without sayin it…
They tell us to hate ourselves and hate each other
In so many ways….a hate genocide…a self hate genocide
If you get my drift…white supremacy doesn’t want black people
To do the acts of kindness for each other…not at all…
Though we should cos that’s how we develop self respect…
Even disciplines…
