Missin black people

Missin black people
Where are they?
Does anybody care?
No?
Not even black community
Some care…
Cops don’t give a fuck…

Lost sometimes found
Honestly, we do need
To be our detectives
Findin loved ones
And friends….

You see
We don’t get
A lot of media attention
Poster of missin persons
Are in the street
Online…

You see
I don’t wanna go
Missin
Not in the day
Not at night….
I’m not alone
Travelin around
I stay with somebody

Cos chaos ain’t allowed
In the house….
No mama’s tears rollin
No arguments of whereabouts…
My face will never be on that flyer….

And I wanna give the families
Hugs and condolences
For those who left so soon
Those who been gone for a long time
They’re still searchin,

It’s not always a runaway…

I have posted missin black persons
In my instagram stories….
Cos they don’t get a lot of alert…
They need to be found….
Safe and sound….

You know there’s racism involved, too….

White people go missin
It’s plaster everywhere
With a lot of alert
Black people go missin
Quiet as a mouse…
Never care
Remember in the eyes of white supremacy
Black people still ain’t human…
Always remember, ok?

And we’re humans by the way..
We got pain….
If our relatives go missin
Our hearts would fill with worries
And heavy concerns
Especially when you’re black…

Let me remind you
Strange fruit is still happenin
Meanin melaninated bodies are on a tree
Or a pole
Or at a bridge…
It never stops….

Keep that in mind as well…..

Also
Some folks eat your black bodies
On the down low….

Be aware…
You just never know…

Don’t give up
Findin your loved ones
They will brawl their way to fight
Back and come back home…
Yes they will have trauma…
Embrace your family and friends
The real ones
Say i love you
You just don’t know what tomorrow will bring…
