Human rights
We all say
We got human rights
Correct?
But
Honestly
We don’t have human
Rights unfortunately
We keep fightin
For somethin that we need
In our lives
Like to live as a human
To be respected and dignity
As a human
To mind its business as a
Human
And what do I mean by
As a human
Well I’m thinkin
About
Black people
My race
We do have the right
To live, to breathe
To be left alone
To mind our own business
That’s what we keep fightin for….
But do we have to beg, demand and
Protest to get a life for ourselves
We keep askin for reparations….
And the white man government
Said no…yes I said white man government
Cos it still is what it is today…..
We’re still consider as nonhumans
In their amendments…
So when i think about
Human rights
Everybody keeps fightin
For them,
I think about black people
Who keep fightin to exhale air
Every single day..
Black people
Wanna live
Wanna breathe
Wanna be left alone
Wanna have reparations
That’s our human rights….
Do you understand?
Cos we’re humans too…
Original humans
The first parents of humanity
Who suffered the most….
Created a system that oppresses
And dehumanizes us in so many ways
Like you stripped our heritage away
You broke our families apart
You brainwash us to think like white folks
You even told us our hair ain’t good enough….
You made us think our African traditions are devils…
Is that what human rights looks like?
I guess
We have to be a white human
Correct?
To be a Caucasian, that means we gotta
Talk like them bleach our melanin
Entertain them
That’s what white supremacy says in our faces
Meanwhile
Behind closed doors
Y’all secretly fall in love with us
But y’all spoil rotten Europeans
Don’t wanna give us human rights
Y’all wanna keep your racism alive
For your survival…
I know your ways, your tricks
The sad part about it is that
as a lot of black people in our condition
Give y’all a pass to be mistreated as a human being….
That’s our slave mentality…
There are some black people who believe
They’re not humans and don’t deserve rights
Cos of white folks said so….
That breaks my heart….
That’s really put a major hurt on a
Black race….
Black people
Y’all are human
You do have the
Human rights
You do have that right
To breathe
To live
To mind your business
To be with your family and friends
To have reparations
To fight back
To love yourselves and your race
There’s no need
To have African diaspora wars
Between each other globally
No need to kill to be colorist
Towards one another
That’s white supremacy’s enjoyment
A safe haven….
Racism doesn’t give
Us human right
Cos we black…
Racism give us
Dehuman rights
