it is important to remember that Black Women are 3x likely to die from pregnancy-related complications that are preventable, than their white counterparts.

We must advocate for equitable access to quality prenatal care, culturally-competent support, and systems that prioritizes the well-being of Black Mothers and their babies.

Together, we can strive for a future where every Black Woman receives the care and respect she deserves. Black doctors are needed more than black entertainers and athletes.

Andrew Cauchi and wife Michele said at their Toowoomba home on Monday that they were devastated by their son’s stabbing spree at a Bondi Junction shopping centre on Saturday that killed six people.
