Why do I?
Why do I need to celebrate black history month?
Cos a white man said so?
One time it was a week now it’s 28 days plus 29

I heard some states want schools not to teach
Black history month, and you know why…

But honestly we don’t need a February anyway
We can learn black history all year round…
What’s the point?

This is a way of pointin at us black people
For a second, them go back to lookin at white people
And other races for hours…

To me black history month is actually capitalism…
It’s more commercialized….
Is it that we had to fight to get a month? Instead of a week
To get notice? To have a white man’s approval?

I mean it’s an issue to get permission from a white man
To celebrate yourselves…it’s so disheartenin..

We did the same thing with Juneteenth, same thing
With Kwanzaa…even Martin Luther king jr…

It’s possible that’s part of our condition unfortunately….
We have to ask the white man cos he’s the boss
He’s the boss of the world with bad odor….
And black people don’t understand why….

Why do I?
Why do I have to battle for a certain holiday?
A certain movement? A certain month?
For my own people?

And this is another reason why we have to be on our own
For good….we should ask us instead of a white man and his
Government…we should do our own thing without colonial rule
Though every time we do that, we get massacred….a lot of
Black folks are scared to be on their own celebratin victory with
Any white establishment involvement….it’s cos of trauma and history…
They rather ask the white man first before we do anythin by ourselves….

And that’s one example of white supremacy….power structure….
And it’s just so happen that we have to let everybody involved….

Why do I?
Why do I have a month to celebrate my melanin poppin?
I don’t have to….

But you can have a party about
Black history month if you want to…
That’s your business….
And if you’re actually curious about
The truth, go look up original black Americans
Dark skin Afro noses like ours….
Go study them…..
Before any other races
There were black people
All over the world
Includin the so called usa….

Think back to a time when if you even talked about getting a gun you would be lynched. ...Then in the 60's The Black Panthers showed up with guns at the State Capital, and they changed the laws to keep you from Guns once again... So why now after all of these years are guns so easy to get? There so many guns in the hood children have no interest in toys... So why now? They stopped it before... This generation is not smarter... So why is it so easy now for us to get guns? ....Think Black People. It is because you are now fully programmed for self destruction. Men vs women, adolescents vs adults, Episcopalians vs Baptists, Sunnis vs Sufis, Hebrews vs African Spirituals, militants vs pacifists, democrats vs republicans, dark skinned vs light, Americans vs Africans, Blood vs Crip, Moor vs Black, and on, and on, and on.. Your enemy wants to hurry our demise. Unity/Love is my Gun.
