As my eyes look toward 24 there's a light guiding the way.
Though some would say I cannot have my way and that in this mire I must stay
There's a gleam of promise that says don't worry, God will break this clay.
And the future becomes clear as the New Year nears.
Drowning away the sorrows of 23 by me, relieving myself of these tears.
