If you don't change the tank the snake is in, the snake will never grow. It needs a bigger tank to grow. Paraphrasing from something I just heard based on story of a child's pet.

In order for a person to grow into the possibility that could be them, they must be in the right environment. If you want to grow, change your environment.

I moved, but my environment did not change.

Change it. I bought a home in "The bottom". There is no worse neighborhood around, and while I tend to keep to myself I greet all who I cross paths with, with love, and seek out the best parts of them to embrace when we interact. The seeds of love are being cultivated and I see it! The hardest work; however, is internal. A snake is a snake 🐍, but we are Gods! Gods that can perform miracles. Activate your highest self, and visualize what you would like to see, and the cage will not house you. You cannot cage the mind, or spirit, only the physical.

A lifetime of trauma has stunted my ability to trust my own judgment and decisions. And I am finding it rather difficult to grow past this.
