Hold up - it's a difference between 'showing affection' and 'coddling'. After a certain age, you have to treat a young man, according - I would say 10 is a good age to 'not do what the father in the image is doing'. Teach young men in their teens what an appropriate expressions of affection between a father and a son is. It's a quick 2 to 5 second hug. Outside of that - you're enabling the teen boy to be immature MALES...stop infantilizing grown teen boys. THIS (in the screenshot) is NOT GOOD for the teen boy's emotional/psychological development. When a boy reaches pre-teen, THAT is the time to teach him about BOUNDRARIES of physical touch between strangers, among is peers, with girls and other family members. NOW, this overgrown male/infant immature big-baby-ass teen boys is going to act a fool with girls his age in the neighborhood. THIS behavior is a perfect way for a father to transform his teen son into a teen-girl-repellant INCEL (rainbow boy)! Smh.

With All that's going on in this world today..I think this is very appropriate for that young man to feel secure with his dad.. it's Not done everyday cus teens don't like their parents at some point.
