He had power, he exposed racism
In the music industry and the only way
To put him back in his place

Is to kill him…not only that

They tried to put him in a situation
Where they made him look like a monster
And his family watched him suffer..

Especially in the courtroom, they watched
How the system strange fruit the greatest entertainer
Like he can’t breathe….psychologically
There was a tree and rope to suffocate his humble
Soul all cos he had power….a powerful intelligent
Black man….they wanted him to be stupid….
Not to play fair on the chess…

That’s why I admired him….that’s why he inspired me
To do the same…if I could play chess with white supremacy,
If I could steal their power and encourage black people to do
The same, I’d be on their murder list…. I don’t care if they kill me Or
My family or my friends just cos I got power for a black woman….
They knew all along they’re in the wrong….the whole time they’re so

We need to get rid of it

We don’t have to die for unitin our own people
Together…we don’t have to live in fear when
There’s true leadership involved….

That’s a beautiful picture I’d like to see in reality…
However it’s not goin to happen….
Honestly I say many reasons why that we have conditions that
We’re afraid to get power….we don’t wanna die….
We don’t wanna make sacrifices, we’re selfish….
And part of it is that we don’t understand the never endin war…
We’re too busy foolin around….
