Wrecked my head to find a quick and cheap way to travel Africa, till I started to think like a white European;
Ghana wasn't a colony of the Netherlands, so I could drive or take a train to the UK to be maybe 50€ total cheaper off than departing from Amsterdam.
From Ghana, I want to go to Senegal and here it gets interesting; the cheapest way is to drive or take a bus to Togo and then take a plane to Dakar. This makes total European sense since Togo was/is a French colony just like Senegal.
Ok...not done... I have to get back home to Amsterdam; the cheapest way is to go half French speaking Brussel and then take a train to Amsterdam.
Note: cheapest and quickest way from Amsterdam to Ghana is with 1 stop in Marocco.
