Only to get them safe from any harm…cos
Black people can’t trust the blue uniforms along with
The badge of authority….let’s be real, officers are
Slave patrols, slave ringers….and we know police stations
Are full of corruption….this is for the black mothers
Out there…maybe your kids never experienced a police
But in your gut feelin you need to make a call to your child
And tell them to go left or right or go to the other way
Cos again police officers can’t be trusted….they do see color
They do see melanin….too many of them are the kkk….
My mom isn’t the only one who makes a phone call
To her son, my older brother….we know what police are cable of,
Am i sayin all cops are bad? No….black mothers
Know, black mothers worry black mothers know their gut feelin
We know we live in a world where our black skin isn’t invited
To the party…we know that for sure….we see it on the news
We see it on social media…I’m not sure about white mothers
And their black children, some are aware of their system and they have to use
Their white privileged to protect them…they might make a phone
Call to their black sons and black daughters warnin there’s a cop in the
Streets…i don’t know…. And it’s why I said white supremacy needs to go
Away cos black mothers shouldn’t have to worry about their babies
Gettin killed by blue lives matter…. It’s why I don’t have any respect for
police officers
Caucasian or melaninated who slaughter black race in America…
Caucasian got away with it, and melaninated goes behind bars
And melaninated still thinks he or she’s a white person…
That’s another thing, tryin to impress white folks to join the fun…. I remember tellin my ex best friend that on the phone
she got the nerve to tell
Me that I should respect them, their job is not that easy….
She shut me up
I still don’t trust them…black people
Has that anxiety risin to the roof
When it comes to blue and red sirens….
I understand their job isn’t that easy
But they still murder black people on a typical day
In America and in Europe all over the world….
Cos they’re black…my ex best friend is white
And she doesn’t fully understand what’s like to be
Black in America, what’s like to be a target by the
Whole planet cos they have melanin in the flesh…
Black mothers called their children’s cells whether they’re grown
Or not they warn them about cops being around in
The areas….white mothers don’t have to do that
With their white children… when cops are around…
They have no fear…
Cos white supremacy have their back…that’s their people….
For black mothers only
I don’t blame y’all
I would do the same
If There’s a cop Parkin in my handicapped spot,
I tell my kid to go somewhere else
Cos I will never know….
You can’t trust a police who says I thought he or she has
A gun when really it’s a shoe….
