If all countries did what Namibia did
Namibia has abolished visa-free entry for US travelers, in a bold diplomatic move to prevent them from illegally stealing its minerals.
Starting today, April 1, the Namibian government will require every US citizen entering Namibia to hold a visa.
Any US citizen caught in Namibia without a fully approved visa will be declared an "illegal immigrant" and treated exactly as Donald Trump treats African immigrants in the United States.
Following this announcement, more than 500 US citizens, who had been mining diamonds, gold, uranium, copper, and other minerals in Namibia without visas, applied for visas to continue mining. However, their applications were all rejected, and they were ordered to leave the country today (April 1) or face brutal expulsion starting tomorrow.
Namibia is one of the world's largest diamond producers, and is now seeking full control over its diamond mines.
