In my Nova Scotia notebook
I wrote two poems to you
They’re all love letters
Yesterday evenin…
I guess I can’t get you out of
My noggin…my noggin likes you
So much…it made a place for you
To stay like my heartbeat….
Nobody knows my noggin made a
Warm place for your presence to roam…
Especially in my memory…
You truly are special to me….
Honestly I don’t know why…
But you are….it’s okay you’re allowed
To be special to me….special to my heart….
This is why I write poetic love letters
Cos you’re in my head just chillin…
You could be walkin all over my brain
Left to right, right to left…..
Leavin your footprints of lovely dreams….
I just sigh….you made me feel joy
Through my chest….can I describe you
Magical?

Can i say that I feel sparks like fireworks?
Or somethin in the effect?
The way I experience
It’s real….like in a romantic film
Though we’re long distance
And sometimes it’s difficult to explain
What love feels like…we’re in an adrenaline rush
On a slow motion pace…
That’s my opinion
I don’t know about yours

All I know is, I feel you..
You feel me
I’m scared to lose that…
Cos again I repeated myself
As another broken record
You’re really special to me…
Nobody knows you’re special
To my heart…
