I am not the person I once was. Sometimes being the hero ain't it or pushing for things to happen is self-defeating. I just prefer embracing where I am and understanding that shift will sometimes occur outside of me and that's ok too. God did say "Be still and know I am Lord" and that's what I'm doing. Being still. Sometimes this is when the most awesome turn of events happens!

My life isn't charmed but it is still friggin amazing. More and more I am appreciating what I have and who I have and who I am. Peace is the goal and although my progress may not always steady, I feel myself getting closer to my peace.
