This black man did that….
This black man did that…
This black man travelled across the world
Visitin orphanages and hospitals
Only to give his time and heart
To heal the sick, even through his music
Everybody Knows him, quite famous…
He’s a black man, doin his best to mend
The broken hearts…and you got fans passin
Like crazy…he was shy, he sang his soul
To the world cos the world needs love…
The world still does….
Cos a black man did that….
He had vitiligo still he was a black man….
Do you forget?
I don’t want the days when kids say
Michael Jackson is a white man…
We know that is a lie, a textbook lie…
He’s a black man, a black humanitarian
From Gary Indiana….
Nobody talks about how
He donated charities
Givin gifts to the poor
A black man created a foundation
Called heal the world….
You know that’s black history….
You know he played chess with the racist
Music industry…that’s a lot of things I’ve admired
The most…bought the Beatles bought half Sony…
A black man did that..
I hope you didn’t forget he was a black man….
He’s not a Caucasian…not a colonizer…
The world, every continent
People of different backgrounds
Loves him…he broke too many records….
Yes a black man did that…
A black man did have so much power
And challenged white supremacy…
They never liked him
Though they got the nerve to
Have Thriller in their music collection….
Cos this black man did that…
He did all of that….

This is another Michael Jackson piece I wrote. I got inspired by the YouTube videos of Michael Jackson visiting hospitals and orphanages. Nobody really talks about how wonderful he was except the podcast I listen to, it’s called humanitarian the real Michael Jackson. It’s really good.
