There was a sweet gnome
Name Thandie….
And she always believes in love
A 16 year old teenage girl
Who always wanted her first kiss….
Who always wanted to dance with her boy…
But every time she falls,
It will end up breakin her heart….

She was once told
Not every boy is a suitable mate….
Not every one is your prince Charmer….
She gotta realize searchin for love isn’t easy….
With her parents who gives her wisdom
They reminded their daughter she has to
Love herself and stop givin her soul away to all the wrong boys….

But Thandie, she’s a dense
So naive she keeps flirtin her way into
These shiny knight armors’ hearts…

Her ears doesn’t perk up
She’s just gullible
Wanted to be a damsel in distress
Save by a handsome gnome….
Wanted to be sweep off her feet
By a romantic soulmate…

Not recognizin all the boys she courted with
Will not be together forever with her
Each of them doesn’t love her….
Each of them lie, cheat and friendzoned….

Thandie asked herself, “what’s wrong with me?”
She just wanted her sweetheart, her own Romeo….
Not unrequited love….

There are times she wants to give up
Many times she has faith….

So she stays hopeful…
Such a quixotic young lady she is
She reads so many love stories and poems….
She even recite love letters to herself pretendin
It was from her future beau…

Thandie loves love
And romance….
It’s what she watches her parents dancin
In the living room without music or
Holdin hands…

She asked herself when will I will grow old
With someone?

Maybe soon….

Cos real love is possible…
She’s gotta love herself first…
Give herself time
Live her life
Before she meets the man of her dreams….
