Black people are  Still lookin for validation  And acceptance  From white people  I'm sorry to say this  But it's the truth.... We still want to sit  At their table  Instead of ours......  Colorblindness  Integration  Is the issue  And it makes our trauma worsen  If you think about it..... It makes our Stockholm Syndrome  More stronger than a backbone....  And black people Don't realize  That as a whole race Have a lot of slave mentality  We don't recognize it We don't see it  We don't observe it  We don't talk about it....  It's sad  Cos our mental health is truly hush  Hush among the black communities.... We don't know how to heal our broken hearts  And wounded damaged minds.... As a race....that whiteness did that to us  It still does that to us to this day.... Our behaviors are passed down to generations after  Generations we wonder why.... Cos of slavery and colonialism.... I blame both terrors that continue to hurt us the most....  This is why it's difficult to unite as  A black nation cos many many black people Still drop everythin to be with the white people... And I could hear that Stockholm Syndrome is  Speakin out to my brain sayin there's no way  You can get rid of me...like a stain on a soul  Can't wash off at all....you see black people pickin up  European habits... You see how we act like them....we think we're white and better than  Our own people...that's how sick we are.... We truly are sick individuals.... It's why we quiet other black people for speakin the truth
Only to make white people feel comfortable....
Most of us killed our own to stop unitin black people together
When we do, we get biscuits, we get the bag....
We wanna be token negro so bad....
We wanna be with a white man cos he got so much gold
Which he stole....
Honestly,
We're forever comfortable with his abuse...
We're forever forever bow down to kiss white woman's feet
Even when she weaponizes her tears to get a black person killed....
Times and times again
Black people Will please white people
Will please other races instead of standin on our own
Two feet for our black race..
We don't please each other
We don't please ourselves.....
We're still lookin for
Acceptance and validation
In white folks
And not sittin at our own
Black owned table....

Cos there is way too much self hate
And anti blackness among ourselves
We don't care about black lives
I'm not saying it's all of us
Though it's a lot of us
Who still suffer
Unfortunately
We can never be save by all
Cos

We're in a place of
Lost...we're lost....
We have no African minds
And we don't know what we were thinkin
Back in the day
Way before colonization....

Black history and psychology is another reason
Why we should learn ourselves
Do y'all wanna know why white Jesus planted on our
Brain? Why do we love whiteness instead of our own melanin?
We have to know knowledge of self and why we're robbed....

Conscious community
Is supposed to help us
With that..it suppose to help us
How to strategize our black side of the
Chessboard...how to fight back against
White supremacy....
Though conscious
Community is lost also....
So much debates, fights
And arguments
And we keep welcomin
Colonizers to join in....
Even trash talkin among each other
And we entertain the drama...
There's no self respect and dignity

But we still want
Acceptance and validation at
White people's table...
We beg demandin
Please let us sit with y'all
Yes we're fools
We're fucked up....
And we shall overcome

Right?

You know
I don't mind
Being separated
I don't mind being
At my own table
With people who looks like me
Who loves themselves and loves our people..
Have self respect and dignity
Who fight back if necessary....,
I'm ok with that...
There's a few of us
Give hope to other black people
Who feels this way....
I rather look for
Acceptance and validation
In black people
Instead.....

I wrote a long piece for a reason because black people still want to be in white spaces. This is how I feel about our Stockholm syndrome. We can’t get rid of it. We always get a thought that we need white people..we still want their approval…we still want them to accept us as our human beings.. therapy needs in our communities for real. A lot of us don’t realize how sick we truly are. I did wrote a poem about being sick as a black race. I also wrote a poem responding to Langston Hughes about sitting at a table with the white folks. Still to this day we want to sit at a table with white people instead of our own..
That’s how bad our slave mentality is. We’re desperate to be with them not realizing that white people need us the most..
