But nobody wants to listen

I don’t wanna get yelled at
I don’t wanna deal with stern tones…

I felt bad
People said
No more poem like that

Of friends

Though
People encourage me
To be the voice of the people
To the voice of reason
Somebody might keep
My controversial words
In their pocket forever…..

Now what if I passed away
And someone brought this poem
Out cos it was necessary?
The fact is,
I was told to keep it
To myself….
Today and I’m gone
This poem was necessary
Cos of today’s incident….

Nobody wants to listen
Back then
But now people wanna listen…..

You did that with Michael Jackson’s song
They don’t really care about us….
They banned his black voice
Years later after his passin
You used this for blm
For gorge Floyd

People need to hear the sound
Of this message that a creator or createss
Tries to tell them….they continue to shut them
Off….like they would do anythin to shush the
Whole bitter truth…..

What if poem has that
Important message?
And for not listenin,
Not readin,
It’s goin to affect the whole world
Later on in life…..

And people do have
Regrets for being so ignorant
For ignorin the real voices that tried warn you…

Still nobody listens
Nobody cares
And they’re goin to see how the cycle
Repeats again and again….

That’s the problem….

Or poetess
To erase the poem
And make them apologize
Just cos
You feel uncomfortable….

Yes it is negative sometimes
We’re livin in a cold cold world
Where people are constantly controllin
People in a bad way….
We need a reality check…
realistically…..

There can’t be rainbows and sunshine
All the damn time….

Yet

You still wanna be distracted
You still wanna feel good
And ignore the bull shit
I don’t focus on the terrible only…
I only focus on what’s real…

And I’m doin my own best to tell the truth….

Cos facts kill the naive…
Murder the stupidity

And people don’t want lies to die….

This is what I’m afraid of though it didn’t happen recently. Nobody wants to hear the truth til it’s affects them later on. People gotta listen, even if they get offended. Listen, stop being hardheaded. Unfortunately the world doesn’t care. No wonder humanity is going to extinct cos people don’t want to hear it. I did write a piece about black people wants to feel good. It’s the same kind of thing.
