It's the enslavement and colonization 
That caused it....y'all don't wanna hear

We're sick as a people
We think we're ahead of the game
But we ain't...
Look at our trauma,
The damage
We carry this kind of
Automatic forgiveness in our
Genes....it's so damagin
That we continue to be blind

So called Jesus love
Or by other religions...

I'm just sayin...
Black people
We need to let go of that
We need to stop forgivin
Serial Killers of white supremacy
Abusers of racism....
Stop doin that....
Y'all need to get punched in the face
For havin forgiven hearts....
For havin compassionate souls to the enemies
Who doesn't give a fuck about us and our feelings
They don't see us as humans
Dehumanizin is actually done on purpose...

I've been writing about black people who forgive their enemies who killed their loved ones all the time... they forgive too easily and it's a part of our conditions that we carry from slavery.. the reason i said forgiveness is not the right thing to do is because it's a psychological abuse...Christianity is a part of the process where black people forgive their masters constantly after A countless beatings...in my other poems I mention Dr. Frances Cress Welsing talking about forgiveness during slavery. What makes me write this poem again because I saw this Instagram post about a black girl got shot by a police in Pennsylvania and her family forgives him like it was an accident. It's not an accident..it was intentional. Black people shouldn't forgive racists at all... white supremacy dehumanizes black people for a reason.. too many people don't understand that. It's why as a black community, we need to discuss our mental illnesses that we have as a race. We also need to talk white supremacy because it affects us every single day...we're at war.
