They hung me up
Tightly to a tree...
They tied me up
With a rope
How they choke me
Throw gasoline at my body
As my skin should be burned...
As my entire race should stay in hell...
Just cos
I speak about my husband's death....
I speak about how they killed him
I don't think he was involve in this mess....
But they killed him, I never knew black
In America is terrifyin....my blackness is
Fearin my life...they wanna teach me
A lesson....so they lynched me....
They cut my stomach and took my child
Out of my womb...drop it to the ground
And smash my baby's head with their hard
Wooded shoes....tiny bones of my unborn
Baby I've never seen, never held in my arms
before...Its crack...its bleed...crushin that
Throat of a little body... I was 8 months pregnant
When this shit happened....
Yet I didn't apologize for usin my voice,
For sayin somethin...
I've died for it,
You see, nobody understands
This kind of pain..this kind of hurt....
Yes white owner is dead, my husband didn't kill...
And I spoke up, nobody knows this...

I just knew the worker was sick, and he

Employees....mr. Smith was a drunk,
An abusive man---
