A lot of white ppl whose families owned slaves would later on in life change the spelling of their (last) name by 1 or 2 letters to separate themselves from the Black ppl (slaves) whose names were the same.

This happened because the melanated people down there didn't vote for what they wanted so the pink people voted for what they wanted. The Mahali Party was trying to get supporters to help put our people in these positions of power down there but as usual our people gave our people the side eye and turned their backs on them.
