My grandda is the first one on the left and the other 3 are his brothers. This photo was taken before 1973. The brother on the far right died January 7, 1973 with his wife in a car accident on the historical Rooster Bridge. This bridge was built from money raised from the selling of roosters. It was a one lane bridge that required you to wait for a signal to cross. On January 7, 1973, as my great-uncle was crossing the bridge an impatient driver hit them head-on. The Rooster Bridge was demolished in 1980 after a new one with two lanes was built a mile up the river. Since the new millennium, a second bridge was built alongside it to accommodate 4 lane traffic for Hwy 80.
