What if someone told me to
Get over it by force, when I talk
About slavery and racism?
Honestly with so much force,
I’d be quiet…..
Which is scary….
Cos how am I goin to stand up
For black people?
How am I goin to advocate
For my own race?
Would I have to keep
My discussion a secret?
Or never speak of it at all?

Have you ever realize
That white supremacy is a big time abuse,
A top notch slave owner,
All over the world?
The worse part about it
Is that there are some black people
Who defended the systematic racism…
Like it’s okay to hurt us…to make us feel inferior
To kill us…some knew it’s white supremacy
But they chose whiteness over us…

And if you’re black,
And you tell the people who looks like you
To hush by force and we do what you say
Is an issue, cos you’re still givin racists more
Passes…givin them forgiveness and compassion…

It’s never okay
This is why sometimes violence is the main key
Cos like I said before repeatedly
Whitesupremacy speaks violence, their actions shows
Terrorism…it’s been shown throughout history…

Systematic oppression
Needs to be in our conversations
Everyday we’re at war….there’s a battle
Outside In today’s society and y’all are too blind
To see what’s really goin on….

Nobody cares about what’s happenin…
Nobody cares about what we’re dealin with….

This is another scenario
I’m thinkin about
Where people are desperate to
Keep me hush on certain topics…

People would persuade me
People would politely be stern with me
And it would make me feel uncomfortable…

And i might oblige…
I don’t want to…..

I wanna help
The world to use their critical thinkin
For once in their lifetime…

I’m a poetess
And I use my poems to give messages
To the people…
I use them to do the right thing….
Just like Dave Chappelle
He used his jokes to tell the truth….

My black voice would be banned
Though my soul is still out there
In public display…

My words are not hate speech..
It’s gaslightin white lies poetically..

I don’t have to shut the fuck up…
My readers know my heart is loud and clear…

Say what you want,
I advocate my people
If it triggers you,
Oh well..
You gotta listen
Or walk away in your ignorance
Just don’t be disrespectful..
Just cos you feel uncomfortable
Doesn’t mean you gotta use your
Systematic power to take my voice away…
