Any African who cares about their history should read this book:
Back in 1974, legendary scholar Chancellor Williams distilled his 20+ years of wisdom into 384 pages.
In this book, The Destruction of Black Civilization, he shared a simple 6-step process for discovering the truth about African History.
Here’s the breakdown:
1. Begin with The Origins of Humanity
• African history begins with the very dawn of humankind.
2. Focus on the Golden Age of Black Civilization (Old Kingdom of Kemet 3100 to 2181 BCE)
• The unification of Upper and Lower Kemet occurred
• The pyramids were built
• Significant advancements were made in mathematics, astronomy, and medicine
3. Examine the Impact of Invasions
• The Hyksos invasion of Egypt
• The spread of Islam across North Africa
• European colonization and its lasting effects
4. Study the Great Migrations
• The migrations from Kemet and their linguistic and cultural impact
• Forced migrations due to the slave trade
• Modern migrations driven by economic factors and conflict
5. Analyze the Re-emergence of African Kingdoms and Empires
The period from the 10th to the 19th centuries saw the rise of numerous powerful African states.
• The Mali Empire
• The Songhai Empire
• The Kingdom of Kongo
• The Zulu Kingdom
6. Understand Colonialism and the Fight for Independence
• The Berlin Conference and the "Scramble for Africa"
• African resistance movements
• The process of decolonization and its Challenge

France and Canada have been reaping Zambia’s copper wealth for decades, quietly passing control between themselves while making little noise, Everyone seemed happy to benefit except Zambia. France’s influence began in the colonial era through European companies, and today Canada dominates through Barrick Gold’s full ownership of the Lumwana Mine, one of Zambia’s largest copper producers. Zambia holds 0% equity in the mine; its small 2.6% stake held by ZCCM-IH in 2006 was sold back to Canadian owners by 2011. While Zambia gets some royalties, taxes, and local jobs, the vast profits flow straight to Canada. This long-standing extraction has been accepted without major resistance until Zambia will tried to say no, challenge the system, or demand more control, then suddenly problems will start. Africa must wake up to this pattern of exploitation and reclaim its resources before it’s too late.
John Hampden Randolph
Hmm…
He sent his sons to
War cos of cowardice
But he can beat the slaves up….
And white people want to preserve
This history…this past of punkass…
Like really?
Let me tell you somethin?
Black people are not human
In your eyes
In his eyes…..
John ain’t a nice guy…..
And he left his wife
At that manison
Which is burned down by the way….
White america don’t get the concept
Of the horrors that happened in that house….
Cos like I said black people are not human
To their eyes….
But they have black friends who entertain them
Let’s be so fuckin for real, ok?
This slaveowner
Was cruel and ugly
You know what god don’t like,
Right?
God don’t like ugly
And saw our ancestors cried
He doesn’t like
That slaveowner
Who has the most ugliest soul
On the planet
This is why his castle burned in fire
Last week
And black people are celebratin
This beautiful victory
This history
This reckonin
I may not be a Christian
But i know for a fact
That god and his son Jesus
Never like the hypocrisy
The cruelty
The fact white people
Made a weddin out on that plantation
Out of joke…
Mockin our sufferin and sorrow
Do they really think our trauma is a toy
They play?
Honestly
They don’t give a damn
It’s why the karma burned the whole thing
Down in ashes….
Consequences…
Perhaps?
White tears
I’m drinkin every cup
Of them and I could care less…
Cos
White people don’t really see our
Pain our heartbreak as humanness….
They don’t know or chose not to
Acknowledge the historical blueprint of torture
That John and his crew has conflicted on
Our people…
The superiority of it all
When really
I bet he doesn’t take baths….
Just sayin….
John Hampden Randolph
Is a coward
An evil slave owner
Who lived in nottaway plantation
That our ancestors had built…..
Now it burnt….
And black America
Did the dance of joy
While white America frowned…
Tellin us to be sad about it
Fuck no,
White America didn’t cry over
Our death in that house….
Did I just say?
Did I mention?
Black people are not seen as humans
To white peoples’ eyes?
I know I did….
They could fake a memory loss
If they wanted to,
But we can give them a mirror
A Time Machine of
All the slaves were tortured
Raped
Separated families
Beaten
Whooped
Lynched
I’m goin to place of
White America’s reflection on the wall
And leave it there to remind
Y’all your cruelty….
And John
Their buddy john
Their ancestor
Who is a monster
And a punk ass motherfucker….
All the horrors he did
All the whiteness he painted
Yes it’s history
However
White supremacy loves to conceal
The Truth like nothin happened
Like it’s not a big deal
When in fact it is
They chose to miss that slavery out
For real…
They don’t wanna feel guilty
Instead they turned into hotel suites
And wedding venues….
Not a museum of terror
That white people caused…
It’s facts…
They don’t wanna mention
John was an asshole
In their own professional way…
They threaten people who worked there
Not to speak of it at all
And people don’t wanna do their research
They wanna live in their fairytale ignorance
And be married…
Not realizin it’s a curse….
Or some kind of karma might pop up
In nowhere
Only cos
They disrespected
Our ancestors’ heart….
Burnin the plantation down is
Consequences
After all the centuries of our
People’s heartbreak….
Hopefully
Some white people who look at themselves
In the mirror
And see what have their great great grandparents
Done….
They have benefits from those horrors
They did on us…
It’s white privilege….
Shouldn’t be so proud….
Not at all….
