Peace, love, and respect to my MP family.

I used to write about love
All the time, cos love was my favorite
Subject, and it still is....

Now I don't write about love way too
Much, I turned my attention to
Somethin else that's important, only cos
I've learned so much, I've learned a lot...
I keep learnin, how it change my writin like
My poems has been woke...this kind of woke
Where I can observe different things....

And different things got me wanna help people
More.... I started to write about black people, how
Black people get mistreated.. I started to expose white
Supremacy in my verses...I started to stand my ground
And be the voice of my people... I'm black....I live In United States
And I see what's happenin, people reads my poems about
Racism, black history, and the anger I feel towards the system
They said it's unlike me....they asked me where's the real kai

The real kai who loves love and romance
well the real kai is still here
Still breathin
The real Kai has branched out and would love to
Educate people to get people to think.....

I've been called racist
Homophobic
Transphobic
What I said is the truth
I think before my thumbs tapped a poem....

Ignorance and cognitive dissonance
Doesn't like me at all
Though it doesn't stop my thumbs
My pen.....my pencil....

I'm still the same real kai
That people know,
I just branched out
I became truth teller
And truth tellers gets banned
Unfortunately....

Nobody wants to
Hear about white supremacy
And racism
But it's in our faces
On the news
On social media
Everywhere
It reminds us
Racism never left buildin....
And the fact is history repeats itself
Over and over and we let it repeat....
It's why racism needs to be discussed,
Needs to be addressed....
Cos black people and people of color
Are still sufferin....
Especially with the trauma in our genes
That we don't know how to erase....
I decided to talk about it
I decided to write about it.
Cos I wanna help people who look like me
Who doesn't understand system....
Even if it's on social media...
I know it doesn't help a lot
But there are black readers who read my poems...
You can call me obsessed
Though at least
I'm doin somethin good
Somethin healin
For black people who reads my poetry....
I decided to shatter the hearts with facts....
I decided to gaslight white people for what they did....
For what they're still doin, today...
If I lose some white friends who get triggered
Oh fuckin well....
Facts over feelings....
I'm not goin to shut the fuck up
Respectfully....
I'm goin to share this awareness
Forever
Cos oppression is still there
In our faces....the sad part is that
Some black people are still believe
In a colorblind society
Where
White supremacy doesn't exist at all....
They told other black people to stop
Talkin about it
Stop writin about it....
When in reality,
Black people are being judged
By melanin in their skin
Daily
Where as white people
Have their white privilege
To live their best lives.....
And I feel in my soul
And my heart
Even when I'm watchin YouTube
On racism or readin about racism
I got the need to help black people
To wake up
I wanna encourage black people with a disability
To have a voice
To have many experiences with a microaggression
You know I can't be racist....
I don't hate anyone....
I'm not judgin pale skin
I'm just judgin their character....
And I don't care if I hurt anybody's feelings....
Truth is the truth...
Let me tell you somethin
Black people are humans, too...
We feel pain, too
We have joy, too
We're not selfish
We keep remindin the world
We still exist,
As humans...not fuckin animals....
But white supremacy tells the world
To ignore us
To ignore our cries
To ignore our heartaches
Especially when our loved ones get killed
By a police.....
It's why I write poems like this....
Get used to it or not...
The real kai is still here....
She's just being too powerful
To write her poetic revelations
Across the nation
Only to reach those who are deeply thirsty for

👀 A wooden object found at a Roman fort on Hadrian's Wall in the UK may have been a 2nd Century sex toy.
