In the real world...
Waitin for someone to catch her
But nobody is around

Where are all these good men?

She has to save herself
Fight back
With weapons in her purse

It's so rare that someone who cares enough
To protect her....she doesn't have to go through
Dark corners by herself have to fight for her own life
From these monsters and sometimes maze doesn't work
Sometimes she has to throw punches in the middle of the night
Somethin to defend herself...cos women aren't naturally buildin
To fight someone who attacks them...they didn't have to go out
It's why you need a man...that's why he was built to protect
A woman....we women are vulnerable in these types of situations
Especially our children...yes women can beat the shit out of
The bad guys but they didn't have to...it's why men are here for....
The quote "I can take care of myself" can always leads to trouble...
And sometimes it doesn't...just be mindful and be careful
Even if you got a weapon..it's okay to have a guy who cares about your
Safety walks to the car...like someone who you feel comfortable with...

For black women who said I don't need a man, shut up
Yea we do...we do need our men to protect us....black men
I don't care if y'all hate us and we got bad attitudes, put all that shit
To the side for a minute, imagine if that was your little sister or
Daughter in danger, could be your wife in danger...someone you love
Is in danger and your instincts has to catch up to you...as a man you need to fight
That monster....even if she doesn't want to be saved and doesn't wanna appreciate
You, you are goin to save her anyway. Cos she can't fight the monster herself when the monster
Is too strong....
Black community need black men to protect, to keep our babies safe..especially from the people
Who look like us...that's the worse....

We are
In a way where we are in horrible situations
And it's traumatizin....
However
Women find themselves to get out of that
And run for help
And there are others who are terrified to
Run away....
It's scary....
