In Virginia….. I didn’t read his novel
But I heard he feminized him
Cos through our stories
Nat Turner
He was a man
He wasn’t afraid
He was fightin for freedom
And this writer William got shook
So he wrote his novel saying
Nat was a homo when he was a kid…
Even white writers could buckbreak
Black masculinity in their narration
Only to make an example out of
Him for black readers to see
In a literature world….
This is what I see,

And the part is that William
Who disrespected our ancestor

And Nat Turner was a real person…

So he wrote his fear for black masculinity

Made it creepy and disturbed
Tryin to get black people not to look at
Nat Turner as a MAN…That’s what it is

His book is called confessions of Nat Turner

In his power in his disrespect way..

He consumed him in a way….
