Yes you can talk about ableism

Yes you can talk about ableism....
You can speak how people with disabilities are treated
On a daily basis....
Nobody gets triggered by that word...not a single one....
I know there are some...
you can talk about ableism...
You talk about the oppression
You can talk about how parents don't teach children nor to stare..
Ya ableism is somethin to be discussed...
It's everywhere...
There are no complaints about this topic,
Families have a loved ones with a disability
Advocates for their rights
Some doesn't go outside
Cos they feel ashamed...it's heartbreakin....
You can have a speech, a conversation
About ableism and everybody I witness
Feels comfortable talkin about ableism...
Though
If they feel comfortable about discussin
About ableism, they could talk about racism..
The only reason I said this cos racism is also
A big issue on the planet..Besides ableism...
Racism gets people really tremble with fear
Cos certain people don't wanna feel guilty....
They feel uncomfortable
When the truth comes in the room like a perfect shadow....
They be like we don't talk about that..
Here's a thing
Black people with disabilities
Are dealin with white supremacy and racism
Also...besides ableism...
We're also being judged by the color of our
Skins and our disabilities
We have to deal with both..
We also have to deal with sexism, too....
People forget
Black people with disabilities
Have to deal with the bull shit...
yes, you can talk about ableism...
I challenge you speak on racism,
Don't use the whitewashed version....
Tell the truth....
And let's see how many people react to it....
Cos again I don't see anybody gets triggered by the word, ableism....
Though there are some people who would have tantrums about it....
I don't know some people but they're out there....
When you talk about racism,
You would see someone's discomfort expression
In a quick second......
Especially when you speak on slavery, Jim Crow era
There would be a certain people who get shook up
And say get over it....they would blame the media to divide
The blacks and whites....they would be quiet in their white fragility....
I'm just sayin it like it is....
Ableism doesn't do to that...
Ableism doesn't shook people up....
Not a single one....not even sexism, or homophobia
Or transphobia....
It's only racism that becomes a larger elephant in the
Room.... I have noticed that....
What about you?
Have you noticed that?
Maybe it's just me being delusional
Yet I observe
I pay attention
To how people respond to certain things....
And I listen
And I do put my nose in someone's business....
I think back in my memories
Witnessin how people act and react....
Ableism does trigger people with disabilities
And people who work with them
And have loved ones with special needs
They do get triggered
I get triggered too....
though it's not the same thing as racism
Racism has its own different kind of triggers
A system that was built to control people
With a lot of melanin in their skin
That's the difference between ableism and racism....
They're sisters..honestly
Everybody can be an ableist....
Black people can't be racist cos we don't have a system
That oppress another race....
Do you understand the difference?
It's ok to talk about ableism cos there are nobody who has
A big fit that I've seen.....
When it comes to talkin about racism...
It's another story altogether....

Yes you can talk about racism
You can also talk about ableism
They're both need to be our discussions....

I'm not advocating that you break the law of the land, however, just try to wrap your head around, how much of a HUGE hypocritical act it is, for those who rule this world, to make it against 'their law' to steal, and teach this law in their education, religious, and legal system, while THEY THESELVES stole land, technology, processes and resources, by deadly force, from our ancestors. Really think about that. #wakeup

Let me just step into this for a bit. The metric system is the most used measurement system in the world. Only three countries in the world don't use the metric system: the United States, Liberia, and Myanmar. Every other country around the world uses the metric system. Also, the U.S.has a rod in a climate control room (can't remember where) with a metal rod that is a certain length that they use to calibrate their measurement...and it's in metric units...Lol 😆
