About the cultural appropriation
Situation? It is that when a black woman
Say white people can copy black people
While callin us hypocrites cos we do the
Same thing to other races…like really?
I would like to say to that woman,
First of all
We’re not cultural appropriatin
Anybody….
White supremacy
Ever heard of this term before
White supremacy has programmed us to mimic
White people….to act like them while hatin
Ourselves….that’s why we witnessed European
Behaviors in the black community….wearin blond hair blue eyes
Contacts, etc… they got us wantin to be white while
They wanna be black….
For a young black woman to say this
Those who think like her
Will always invite white people to our culture…
If we don’t gatekeep our way of life,
It’s goin to disappear and for so many generations to come
Black people will say we don’t have a culture
Cos we keep lettin our races takin our hairstyles our rhythm
Our way of doin things…they’re doin their best to erase
Our blueprint on earth….this is why black people get upset when
Other races copy us…why black people get annoyed by other
Black people for lettin them have our own shit…they be like
Stop being racist, what’s the harm in it?
The harm in it is that they steal sayin they come up with it
They make profits meanin capitalism….
And they don’t give us credit….
We’ve been tellin the world this but nobody listens…we’re tellin our own
People to stop sharin, they just ignored us….
We gotta be careful and it gets confusin
When we see stuff like this happenin….
It’s why we don’t trust colonizers at all
We don’t trust the coons either…
It’s too difficult to keep our culture alive
While others are lettin them to join in
And sabotage it… cos others hate themselves meanin
The coons…
Every time we do somethin original,
It’s depends on how we receive, negative or Awesome
But when other race groups do it, especially white folks
It’s always positive…not knowing where it came from…
So to a sistah like this
Who said Becky can wear black hairstyles
Anytime she wants
Tellin us to stop being hypocrites and racist
When she doesn’t know the history and psychology
Behind that cultural appropriation….
Her self hate ignorance triggers me to the core…
Cos I wish I could help all black people on the planet
To shake out of their deepest sleep and see actually see
What’s really goin on….how I wish I could save us all
Cognitive dissonance is real, and it hurts my heart
When we keep tellin our own to stop lettin them in
Stop trustin them…

It feels like there’s no use…
They’re goin to keep lettin them erase
Our culture, by stealin, by namin it
By tellin us we’re hypocrite only to change
Our minds…..I can tell a sistah has a white supremacy
Mindset on her own….
The system loves her even though they’re laughin
At her behind her back…..
