Cos I see couples doin this…
Fallin in love
Gettin married
Growin old together
Have a family

There’s somethin about romance
Touches my soul so deeply….
I wanted the together forever
Kind of relationship
Where I love him and he loves me
All the time…
Is it crazy to think this way,

To believe there’s a guy out who
Wants to hold your hand, too?
I wanted a boyfriend…
I wanted to be like those couples
In tv series, in the movies…
Sayin to my friends that’s so romantic

Hey at least
I’m honest…
I’m aware of that lovers on tv
Are all fake….
But it made me wanna be with
Somebody….
It does give me hope…

Cos

I wanted a boyfriend…
Do I sound desperate?
I hope not…

I always thought
Love is a beautiful thing
I play sweet ballads
I write poems about this topic
Makin up my own love story

Yet I get jealous of my Imaginary self
With this perfect guy
He was holdin my hand
And we got married at Disney world
The end…

Like happily ever after…
That kind of deal….

The reality is,
It never happened….

Just a daydream…

I wanted a boyfriend
I wanted a husband…
All in one man
Who actually loves me back….
