A man who worked tirelessly to support Kelowna’s homeless population has passed away suddenly at the age of 60.

John Thiessen’s wife Debra took to social media, a platform where John’s presence was widely felt, to announce the tragic news on Sunday.

She revealed that her husband of 34 years, and her best friend since the age of 19, passed away on Friday from a heart attack.

The family of a young woman from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma has revealed that their 18-year-old healthy daughter died unexpectedly on November 9 from an unknown cause.

Trista Deane Martin, a 2022 graduate of Broken Arrow High School, died suddenly months after receiving the Pfizer vaccine.

I learned from her friends that she got the Pfizer shot back in July and told her friends not to tell me,” Trista’s father, Allen Martin, wrote on his social media.

Allen stated that her daughter suffered heart swelling and organ failure.

“She had no history of diabetes, yet had a blood glucose level of over 600, and her heart was swollen as I watched her die.
