I wish the reality become a musical
For once,
I wish i could break out a song or dance
Like a Hollywood film...
Just perfect you know
But we can't get what we want...
We just can't....
Cos we're fuckin things up
On accident on purpose...
I wish the reality become a musical
If this real harsh world become swingin
Only wonder where the music comes from...
How the angelic voices get here...
You would wonder, right?
Not everythin is all Disney and roses....

Just have beautiful moments
That blossom into our hearts and souls
And make them into scrapbook memories...
All we gotta do is to live and love...
And be so open minded
Even grateful....

And sometimes we do wanna live
In a world where there are no war zones
Just rainbows and promises of forever
Sounds like a fairytale...

It's really not...
And not many people want to wish the reality to become
musical....
Plus I can't sing...
I'm not a singin cheerful princess in the real world...
I'm just cheerful....

Sometimes I wish I can break out of a song
With instruments playin out of nowhere
And dance like you see on tv however
There's no such thing as that.....
Not in the reality...though it would be fun....

Writers like William Styron
Who emasculated Nat Turner
Our black hero, a slave rebel
Revolutionist who killed white slave owners
In Virginia….. I didn’t read his novel
But I heard he feminized him
Cos through our stories
Nat Turner
He was a man
He wasn’t afraid
He was fightin for freedom
And this writer William got shook
So he wrote his novel saying
Nat was a homo when he was a kid…
Even white writers could buckbreak
Black masculinity in their narration
Only to make an example out of
Him for black readers to see
In a literature world….
This is what I see,
Where do I get it from?
Well I was readin
Delectable negro
And the part is that William
Who disrespected our ancestor
Makin him into a homosexual….
And Nat Turner was a real person…
Black people were tellin other black people
That we need to stop lettin colonizers
Write our own stories…we should be doin
The writin for us…they will make up
Lies and feminize our black heroes
Just like in the movies….
We gotta be careful who we’re tellin to,
We never know who they flip the script
And make money off our realistic storytellin..

That’s racist….
And he didn’t burn it
He sold it out to the world
Even though it’s fiction
He didn’t have to do that…
And some black men got offended
Well when William heard the story
I bet he got uncomfortable
He was shakin in fear
And that he doesn’t want black brothers
To follow Nat Turner’s footsteps,
So he wrote his fear for black masculinity
Into a book…
Made it creepy and disturbed
Tryin to get black people not to look at
Nat Turner as a MAN…That’s what it is

His book is called confessions of Nat Turner

This is a Caucasian man who wrote this
In his power in his disrespect way..

He consumed him in a way….
And I think it’s cold…

So with that being said
I ain’t plannin on readin it
Cos it’s gross…fuck William Styron
He’s a racist…
I won’t forgive him

Cos writers like that
Especially if they’re whitewashin our
Black figures
They’re actually deprogrammin
Us not to look up to them,
They don’t wanna our uprisings
To be awakened…
William Styron is a prime example….
