Remember Mexico lost a lot of Soldiers fighting to protect the slaves that ran to them. They knew who some of your ancestors were. Today many don't neither understand the Olmecs, Mayan, Inca and Aztec's were black first and African. Indoctrination was wide spread until this day.

I'd never discourage anybody from pursuing their dreams especially when we identify with similar struggles! Coming from a culture of discouragement, because you aren't white is shameful, and unforgivable. This needs to be addressed, & shunned from our community! On one end of the spectrum they expect you to fail, but on the other end of the spectrum when you beat the odds your own people will sabotage you! THAT'S JUST PURE TRASH, & I'll never try to make sense of it.
40 years ago I walked across the border's of Mexico and Canada without a problem. Never had to show an ID. Had great memories. 17 years ago the same. They never denied any of us are our ancestors. So I did some research and of course it was the United States who started that mess. So we blocked in now but I still believe that they would still let us inif need be. Well not sure now because Trump has made sure like the colonizers to make us enemies against each other 👀same exact tactics. Brother against brother and sisters against sisters. 👀Pay attention
