DON'T BE AFRAID, IT'S JUST ME, KENDRICK LAMAR
Hello, I'm Kendeick Lamar. It's not that you hate me America, you refuse to acknowledge or even notice my people's travails that you inflict upon them and what you've done to them historically over the last 500yrs on this continent alone. Its guilt fueled by anger and how dare this Black man expose white people's sins committed against his people before a global audience? Right down to urban development projects from the 1930's which was an experiment that originally housed white people that became the norm during the Civil Rights Movement of the 50’s, 60’, and 70’s for many Black single-parent households. Your government’s objective to insure our deprivation goes way deep into the rabbit hole that’s beyond reason with no sensible justification. You created illegal government agencies and departments to regulate and compartmentalize our poverty and the biggest con was how you made us believe it was of our own doing. We were never taught about Black Wall Street, or the other 250 wholesome townships and the 60 or so wealthy communities built by Black people with their God given ability and faith that was destroyed and ransacked by your people. You are constantly and incessantly telling us every day to pull ourselves up by our bootstraps when you've removed the boots and the straps. {My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.} I will be that priest of many, God of my fathers. My heart was in the right place as I performed my Halftime protest concert which upset many of you. I took you out of your convenient, pacified, comfort zone while my people live in fear of those sworn to serve and protect, and doctors who kill them for their organs and no one’s any the wiser because of? How dare you be reminded of the sins you committed and still commit against God's chosen people. I have the power to awaken my people or the sad truth of watching the downfall of this nation due to a people's incredulous, bitter, hatred. If you believed in God, wouldn’t you heed His prophetic word from His streetcorner prophets or those within the Bible itself? I can teach through spoken word to awaken you to see and believe and hope you’ll at least entertain the idea, meditate and consider, and rationalize the degenerate state of our existence. If not, may your blood be off the hands of my Father’s prophets. Of the above general examples with some common, basic, moral criteria, which is more relevant? That's not a rhetorical question. To those of you who think of me as a puppet, I'm not a toy, your dog, or your boy, but we can be friends. Look at my skin and judge me by the content of my character and the talent the Lord blessed me with to entertain the masses, your children, and your husband. When your husband's on his way to work in the morning eating blueberry donuts while drinking his favorite flavor of Dunkin Donuts Coffee, what is he listening to? AC DC or Public Enemy? B1 of God's chosen-elect, instead of the enemy of His chosen people. Be blessed.
