Trump has fired or fọrced retirement of nearly all high-ranking Blāck military officials since returning to ọffice, keeping only General Michael Langley, who is now being used in the wọrst possible way—going from one African country to another, pushing a hārmful Trump agǝnda in meetings with African military officers. While other Black leaders have been sidelined from top Pentagon positions, Langley remains the face of AFRICØM, leading U.S. operations many see as destructive to Africa’s sovereignty. Critics say he is being used to legitimize covert interventions, militarization, and neocolonial influence, all under the false pretense of partnership and security.
