one of the first lessons my mother taught me (she joined the Black Panther Party at 19) was that you can't rely on EITHER political party because their sole purpose is to stay in power, so they'll stay in power by feeding off ignorance and fear.
For a time, I forgot about this....but wypipo have a way of reminding you just who the fuck is in power.
