Peaceful protests
I don’t actually think
Peaceful protests
Are necessary….
White supremacy
Has shown us
Time and time again
That they’re violent….
They don’t do kumbaya…
They hurt people who look like us
Why are we surprised?
Why do we beg them to accept us
If they keep bullyin us?
This is what I don’t get….
Our sickness, our self hatred
Moves us to the bone
Like we wanted white people
To love us still, why are we shocked
At racism when it’s been here for the
Longest….sometimes
Black people have to whoop white
People ass they have to…they don’t
Think about fuckin harmony and love
To calm the shit down….
And I do want black people
To be vigilant to be violent
As they’re defendin themselves to
The white man, to the white woman
I encourage them to beat the shit out
Of the white folks cos we’re tired….
We sick and tired…
There’s no need
To do peaceful protests
Or March
Cos it’s tactic to make us not fight back
Instead we sing negro spirituals
In the top of our lungs
And holdin hands…
We wanted unity with other races
Instead of our own people…
Like we still tryin to teach non black people
A lesson about racism
We can’t always do that…
Also we forgive way too much…
It’s a part of our condition….
