Is a major traditional celebration of the Guin people of southern Togo.
It is essentially their traditional New Year, and it has both cultural and spiritual significance. The most important part is the Kpessosso ceremony, when traditional priests reveal a sacred stone at Glidji-Kpodji. Its appearance and other signs are traditionally interpreted as predictions or guidance for the coming year.
The celebration includes:

👘 Traditional clothing and ceremonies

Glidji is particularly important because it is considered the spiritual center of the Guin people.
So, in simple terms: Épé-Ekpé is the Guin people's traditional New Year celebration, and Glidji is where its most sacred ceremony takes place.
