Black spaces

When we do our own thing,
Mindin our business as we should…

To be consistent and comfortable

From one another…when we give
Each other respect that we deserve…

White folks will glare at us, we witness
The demon of jealousy and hatred…those fear
In their eyes…they look terror, they wanted to
Be in the center of our attention…we could ignore
