Do you really know what I really think
About racism?
Well I think black people need to fight back
For us, for other black people, for ourselves
And not be afraid of goin to prison or die
When youre doin the right thing for your
Own people...black people shouldnt be scared
Of white supremacy...black people shouldnt be
Afraid of the white man...he created the system
To oppress his own parents...he had helped...
The sad thing about not fightin back, gettin his
Nasty ass foot off our neck is that were deeply
Conditioned to love him deeply while hurtin us...
We give him a hug, we give him a pass after killin
Our loved ones....we still wanna be like him, we still wanna
Be right next to him....its really sad...
Thats how I thought of racism, if you look back on
History and psychology, you would understand the observation
Of heavy slave mentality in our people...
If you study that all kinds of abuses from slavery and Jim Crow
From colonization and imperialism, you might understand the trauma
Follow our black race from the past into today...its in our DNA, in our
Genes....some of us are healin from it, most of us will never speak of
Mental health in our community...I know its not an excuse for not fightin
Back though its a part of it...this is how I truly think about racism...
How racism damaged us so much to the point that we cant come together
And get violent towards the system... I used to think colorblind... I used to have thoughts
That racism is somethin else til I educated myself....
Racism and white supremacy will always be unforgivable...
Its a war on purpose...a white mans world where all his fork tongues
Confuse us...he will overly sexualized us...and the worst part about it
Is that his token negroes so called black friends who will always do the
Dirty work for him....they will always defend him and do a lot of
Destruction on the people who look like them, our own melaninated nation...
Thats how I see racism in my head all the time now...
Do you really wanna know what I think about racism if we sit at a meeting
With people of different ethnicities, and I show you this poem....
And this poem is where I speak up for my people, my black people
Who has been oppressed every single day by white supremacy....
I understand there are other nonwhite races here who dealt with
The system...but Im speakin up for my race only... I love my black people..
Its not a competition...not sayin were better than anyone...
Im just tellin you the truth...and you asked what I think...
Racism gave us trauma, Stockholm syndrome, PTSD all kinds of
Mental Illnesses...they put a major hurt and stigma on my people...
Its why were angry and cant trust white people....
Theres no shame that we have to fight daily to seen as humans...
Humans without judging our skin color...its exhaustin...
Its why I always said black people have to be violent for the right reasons
And its to burn down the whole system down...
Thats somethin we can do...
However nobody has that mindset
Nobody is that angry....
We March we demanded we cry
And we beg
Then we go home
Cos you gotta go to work on Monday mornin...
We got bills to pay...
Black people aint that serious about black people...
Its the truth...😢✊🏿💯💔©️ Kai C. 10-3-24
