The betrayal of a rapist Father, ripped from his Mother’s arms at a tender age under the guise of the then political ‘rights’, violently, bullied and abused throughout his academic years while that very institution simultaneously failed their duty of care and intentionally enabling such henious behaviour, the premise of a love story doomed before it even began, murder of a love-child, slaughtered once the poor prince had only taken his first breath, a fight for freedom he never knew was so significant until the actions of ‘they’ who he once classified as friend and equal, helped ‘lift the veil’ that so clouded his true reality, oh the horror; the perception involuntary instilled, the hurt, anger, frustration, more betrayal, disappointment, awakening shock to the bubble he resided, pop…and on and on and on…🫨
This movie feels like a well needed Prequel to a substantive franchise of Joseph Bologna...👁️
I truly want them to make a sequel expressing the trails and tributaries overcome and enforced throughout his era of when he lead the first all-Black regiment during The French Revolution, delivering all aspects of how he helped the rebellion against Marie Antoinette and the monarchy...
Then, explore how Napoleon Bonaparte reinstated slavery within the French colonies, because of their inherited racism, and also how he then ordered the prohibition of Joseph's music, and-that leads on to the resonance of how his I.P was stolen...✍🏽
A true reflection of when ‘friends’ become enemies through the exposures of ‘pure tolerance’… 👁️
So much to unpack, resonate with and even express the true extend of the heinous atrocities endured from His-Story... 👁️
