Lovelorn

Lovelorn
Is the unreturned butterflies
Is the ache I sat with
Tears I spilled
I know
I’ve been there
I shouldn’t have a crush in the first place…
Stick to the friend…
Even though I don’t like it….

You can’t change someone’s mind
To like you
To love you…
It’s too strong…
Only go too far
Cos you won’t accept the fact

This person doesn’t feel the same way…
I know that hope in your eyes
One day the same person will come around
Soon….
Seems desperate…seems good to be true

Though
There’s someone
Who doesn’t give you this lovelorn
Instead someone wants to see you smile
Genuinely….
Not pain, not sobs upon your pillow
But this type of love gives your heart
Peace…

Go where someone who loves you, too
And stay there…
You never have to be in lovelorn
If you have to, you miss out on
Lovin the right person….
Missin out on your soulmate…

You don’t wanna be lonely,
Miserable….
There’s someone who wants to be
Next to your heartbeat….

Please don’t give up
I never gave up hope
Yes doubts visit sometimes
But possibilities are unknown
And endless….

Somebody’s comin
Somebody who has hopes for you, too…
