Whats the saddest part about the young woman that was murdered by the police is she would still be alive if she could rely on our own people for help over the police, but she had more faith in the police over her own, can we really blame her with how we treat one another so TERRIBLY, go as far as to make excuses for they way we treat each other just to continue a destructive cycle it makes 0 sense !😤😤😤😤

What we been through
Especially with the police,
We still don’t trust them….

And her name is sonya messy….
Shot and killed
This doesn’t surprise me
At all…it really doesn’t….

I heard about this
From a friend of mine
While comin home from camp…
Everybody says her name
With a tongue of broken hearts….
I say dear black America
When are we goin to encourage
Ourselves to whoop a cop’s ass
For killin our loved ones instead of
Forgivin them…a million or more
Our ancestors was like this is war….
They’ve been sayin this countless times
And we don’t listen….
We barely mistreated ourselves
As humans….

I saw the footage, the slave patrols
I mean blue kkkops thought she was goin
To throw a boiled water at them….
She wasn’t….
If she was a white woman, it would be a different tale….

And this is one of the reasons why
Black people are so angry and scared
Can’t trust the authorities who wears blue….

I wish there was a lot of encouragement
For our people to be violent towards police officers
Or any some kind of boycott to make them listen
To get them to stop killin us, to stop them to stock
Our melaninated bodies up like a tall buildin for no
Reason other than we’re black, the color of our skin….
I know, I know, I know
Violence ain’t the answer
I have heard that a lot
But it’s a solution….majority of us
Don’t realize our planet is a battlefield,
Worldwide racism…..

It’s like everywhere you go,
You can’t be human for one second
Cos you’re black….you called 911
For an emergency, and you get killed
Is that fair?

This is why I talked shit about
White supremacy and white folks
And other races in my poems cos
The system and their behaviors Are killin
Us all….I may not experience it a lot….

Sonya Messy could be my sister
Could be my cousin….
Could be my friend
Could be my caregiver
Whoever she is
She doesn’t deserve this…

She left her children on earth….
They lost their mother….
And they’re cryin….their souls crumbled

And the cop ain’t sorry…..
He never was sorry…..
Talkin about he got cancer
I don’t care, he killed a human being…..

You forgot that black people are human beings, too…..
