I am just proud to say.
It was a SOROR from Mississippi and graduate from Tugaloo College that organized a small group of women that grew to a COALITION in an hour. From 200 ppl to 44,000 members joining a call which included many close sorors of mine and many that I have worked on the side of, hand and hand. For whatever comes of this massive response, I want you all to know, you will not distract me, quiet us or shame the passion we have for our D9 - Sorority or Fraternity families! YOU CAN SAY WHAT YOU WANT. When we put our heads and hearts together we create change!!
On July 21st, I honored myself first with a board meeting of black women for Love of Learning Institute
I celebrated a young black woman and her decision to bring life into the world despite fears Dej Dej.
I covered a black woman in the final hours of the day.
I prayed for a black woman
I cried in memory of the black woman's struggle Katherine Moore
I held up my end of the promise to hold black women when life becomes too hard for us to bare alone.
Lastly, I joined a movement for a black woman to become president by completing my volunteer application for DDNC in Chicago, submitting my interest to join #wwbw, and praying over my support system to help me be active in this Election as a Volunteer and Registrar Deputy, as a mom of 3 littles under 5yr, a wife, someone's employee, so many others support system.
I say to all my woman friends...... it's time.......
Whomever your sister may be pray for their success and know your time is well spent because of who you know them to be and their passions and power.
