This is what is going on, we should be real about what people are dealing with daily so we can begin to help change this.

There are children, men and women dying here, having fled from the mineral rich areas just so we can get Christmas gifts. So you can get a new phone for your child, for their birthday, so you can buy a new tablet or headphones for your sister for eid etc. let us think of the Congolese. 8-10 million dead in the genocide, in the last 20 years. 48 women raped per hour, 7 million displaced, dally massacres, 85% without clean water to drink but 25% of Africas fresh water is in the Great Lakes region of Congo, 70% of of the population are under 30, 50% of the population are under 15, 27 million are facing starvation, the gdp is $550 annually per person, imagine working all month for $45 for life. The camps are horrible, no water, sanitation, medical care, food, light, the tents get flooded everyday, when the sun is hot it’s so hot in these plastics tents everyday. As for the mining, well there is no protective equipment, most people get cancer, the waters surrounding the mines are all poisoned, many are full with children, it’s actually horrible. This is all for tech, they're taking 150,000 tonnes of cobalt out of Congo annually, that is set to rise to 250,000 tonnes each year by 2025 as the demand for electric vehicles soars. That’s just cobalt, they also taking copper, lithium, wolframite, tungsten, gold, diamonds, coltan, cassiterite, niobium, uranium, etc.

A poem for the pick me moms who doesn’t protect
Their children…there are predators who come to their
House and make themselves feel at home..first they were
Nice, secondly they became monsters who can hurt a child…
And those mothers don’t say anythin… they don’t kick them out
Of their house, cos they love them….they love them more than their
Own daughters…how is it ok? You think your little girl is too fast, and
You think she will steal your man but she’s only 8 year old….the fact is
A mother will sleep with many men and your son is watchin…there are times
Where one drunk old guy smacked her little boy and she didn’t put him
In check…. I heard stories like this online and it fucked up kids’ minds….
I understand why kids hate their own mothers cos they’re not their protectors….
They care for pedophiles, it’s not right to live…..

That trauma haunts the children, the trauma makes them cry…
It’s the trauma that turns into panic attacks…the children who have
Been in every horrific situation are the real victims…and the pick me mom
Are another type of monsters who threatened their own kids not to say
A word…sayin they should leave him alone….those kind of women who
Are beyond desperate to keep a man by her side….

I don’t have that experience, but I know it’s upsettin…. I know
It’s all too wrong when grown men look at little souls in a certain
Way…they love to snatch their childhoods away, erasin all the youth
Out of their little bones….when mothers get called out, they would
Like, oh I did talk to him…he wouldn’t do it again…it’s not good enough….

Predators should be killed….predators who abuse kids should be killed….
They don’t deserve to live, don’t deserve to grasp air into lungs….
It’s never alright, and those mothers the pick me moms should be smack on their
Faces and take their kids away from them…

You can’t trust these situations….that’s not the kind of environment
Where kids have to be comfortable with….so this poem is for the mothers
The desperate pick me mamas the extreme toxic ones who puts a horrible
Man first, not her babies…. I would like to say I hate your guts….
I hate the way you make excuses for him, I hate the way you beg your kids
Not to call the police….you don’t love your babies…

If you do love your babies, you would kill that predator….
You would go psychopath only to protect your babies….
But you don’t love them, you put your babies in danger
For some male gaze or money….. you told your kids not to
Speak of it around the holidays yet your daughters got raped
Every night in her bedroom by your boyfriend or a stepdad….
Your boys are watchin those men goin in and out of your house

You’re a terrible mother…your children hates you…

Don’t tell me this isn’t nice, not protectin your babies

the most saddest thing about it is that
Some of your kids or all will carry your
Disgraceful trait….nobody taught them how
To say no, how to defend themselves….

The kids I hope they get a lot of help,
A lot of healin, the fact they need to break
This distasteful family curse forever…..

To the pick me mothers who don’t protect
Your little ones…I would always judge you….
You should be ashamed….. I bet one of them has
