In The Matrix, humanity is unknowingly trapped in a simulated reality while machines harvest their energy. The Terminator franchise focuses on a future where machines, particularly the powerful AI known as Skynet, have rebelled against humanity.

Both movies depict a struggle between humans and machines, with technology playing a central role. The collective consciousness, also known as the hive mind or group mind, is a concept in which the thoughts and knowledge of individuals are shared and interconnected.

In The Matrix, the collective consciousness of humanity is being manipulated and controlled by the machines through the simulated reality. In The Terminator, Skynet gains power by connecting machines worldwide in a networked collective consciousness.

Therefore, the connection between The Matrix, The Terminator, and the collective consciousness lies in their exploration of the relationship between humans and machines, and how technology influences and shapes our perception of reality and collective consciousness.

In the 1980's, A&W tried ta compete with the Mcdonald's Quarter Pounder by selling a 1/3 pound burger at a lower cost. The product failed, because most customers thought the 1/4 pounder was bigger.
