And you see I encourage black people to condone
Violence….
There’s a reason for them to put justice in their hands….

Your uncle
Someone who cuts your neighbor’s grass….
Do you see why we have to speak racism?
It’s been a major issue for decades
Black people are exhausted

To expose white America that hangs black bodies
Like ornaments….
Trees remember their pale happy faces
When they saw melaninated corpses swingin along
The limbs cry leaves tumble
Along with our ancestors’ blood….
And North Carolina wanted to conceal its terror
Like a beautiful secret….
Again, this could be your loved one
Your homie down the block
You know damn well
Racism is not over….
It’s still here….
A rope, a branch and white folks who have no humanity
Their tradition never goes away….
