Here's a PSA for you Mentors and Coaches out there:

"You are not your Mentee's therapist. You are their Mentor or Coach."

A lot of times this line get blurred and you as Mentors or Coaches end up taking on more than you can handle or are qualified for. If the professional talk becomes more about personal and the person is having a mental health breakdown, please suggest he/she/they get counseling. If they are in crisis and at risk of hurting themselves or others, call the 24/7 Crisis Line at 988 with them or encourage them to make the call themselves. Do not take on something that you can't handle because they bring these issues to you. There are mental health professionals out there better suited for this.
