Again and again, whiteness gets the presumption of innocence, the benefit of the doubt, the sympathetic explanation, and the rush to defend.

But Black people asking questions, demanding answers, and efusing to accept a convenient narrative before the facts are known, are…“MAKING EVERYTHING ABOUT RACE.”

The caucasity is breathtaking.

You don’t get to make race matter when defending whiteness and then demand that Black people pretend race doesn’t exist when we demand accountability.
